Accessibility & Inclusion

We want ‘Wander’s Tiny Farm’ to be a welcoming place for all and we are always working on making the farm more inclusive and accessible.

Based on experiences of past visitors using a wheelchair most of the farm park is accessible. We have no paved pathways, the ground on the farm park is either mowed grass or dirt road, which seems to work for most wheelchairs, carts, and strollers. A handicap parking spot is located close to the entrance of the farm park. We have a couple of walkers available that can be used free of charge during spring, summer, and fall. We just moved into our new farm store in the barn; no more steps in front, yhea! Our current outhouse has a ramp and a roomy stall. We are still developing the new barn, but easy accessible indoor area and toilets are in the planning!

Our farm is LGTB+ friendly and we don’t tolerate hate based on identity, religion, or otherwise. Our bathrooms are gender neutral.

We have a baby care space with a change table and sofa to sit down and feed your child in peace. The entire farm is a breastfeeding safe space and we have plenty of shaded sitting areas.

We give every visitor a complementary marshmallow (until we pass +30C) to roast over the campfire. While we raise pigs for meat ourselves, we totally understand not everyone eats pork or meat in general, that’s why we also have Hallal and vegan options (Regular marshmallows contain pork gelatin).

Please do not hesitate to send us a message if you have questions about this or other specific (accessibility) requirements or concerns. Tips for for accessibility and inclusion improvements are also welcome!

Kind Regards,

Stefanie & Wander
